Helen Savoia
Helen is a haematologist with a special interest in haematological problems in pregnancy, the fetus and newborn. Helen completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne and her haematology qualifications with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 1997, training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. Since 1998 Helen has worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital and at the Royal Women’s Hospital as a consultant in both laboratory and clinical haematology. She is currently the Director of Laboratory Services for the Royal Children's and Royal Women's Hospitals.
