Andrew Robinson
Andrew Robinson is the deputy head of the Mercy Hospital for Women anaesthetic department, and also works as a VMO at Monash Medical Centre and in private practice. He has particular interests in obstetric anaesthesia and critical care, anaesthesia for cardiology and in teaching. He is involved in medical education at both Monash University through the Masters of Perioperative Medicine course run through the Alfred Hospital, as well being a senior educator at the Monash Simulation Centre. He has recently completed further qualifications in health services management.
Outside of medicine, Andrew continues to work as a sound engineer - although he's not sure why - and is a licensed pyrotechnician.
