Elske Posma
Dr Elske Posma is a Dutch trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She has a special interest in Maternal and Fetal Medicine and did her subspecialisation in the Netherlands and partly at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, where she currently works as staff specialist and recently became Head of the Fetal Medicine Unit. She is also involved in high-risk obstetric clinics with a special interest for pregnant patients with congenital cardiac disease. She has been involved in the development of the guideline for ‘placental adhesive disorders’ at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Posma has an active teaching role at The Royal Women’s Hospital as well as the University of Melbourne.
